1. Who operates Vertix
Vertix at getvertix.app is operated by Zack Wicker, an individual developer based in Eugene, Oregon, United States ("the operator", "we"). Contact for anything in these terms: wickerzachary27@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vertix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
3. Description of Service
Vertix is a personal life operating system that helps you track habits, health, academics, finances, goals, and more. The service is provided as-is and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. Vertix is not medical, financial, or academic advice.
4. User Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Signing in with Google creates an account under these terms in the same way as signing up with an email address.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Vertix only for lawful personal purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or otherwise compromise the security of the service. You may not use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
6. Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds
Vertix offers a Free plan and a Pro subscription billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. While Vertix is in beta, every account has Pro access at no charge and no payment method is collected; when the beta ends we will say so in the app and here. After that, new accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial with no payment method required; the trial ends on its own and never converts into a charge. By subscribing to Pro you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing period until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from Settings, then Billing, then Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Pro until then. Refunds: if you request one within 14 days of your first Pro charge, we refund that charge in full. Charges after the first are not refunded, but cancelling stops the next one. Refund requests go to wickerzachary27@gmail.com. Where the law of your place of residence grants you a longer withdrawal or refund right, that right applies instead.
7. Referral programme
Settings provides a personal referral link. When someone creates a new account through your link by signing in with Google, you both receive bonus Pro days as described in Settings, applied after any active trial, for up to five referred friends. Referrals completed with an email-and-password sign-up do not currently qualify. Bonus days have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and we may end or change the programme at any time; bonus days already granted are kept.
8. Third-Party Integrations
Vertix integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Canvas, Stripe, Teller, and Groq. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of Vertix is also governed by our Privacy Policy at getvertix.app/privacy, which describes what we collect, the services we share it with, and how long we keep it.
10. Intellectual Property
Vertix and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Zack Wicker and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any personal data you enter into the service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vertix is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Termination and Deletion
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing wickerzachary27@gmail.com; account data is removed within 30 days of a verified request.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or in the app. Continued use of Vertix after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
